The beautiful grounds of Navarra University in Pamplona, Spain, was where we went On Location to catch up with multi-award winning lighting designer Nicolas Fischtel AAI, who made time for us in between rehearsals for a new work he was creating at the theatre there with famous Spanish dance company, Metamorphosis. We chatted about his passion and dedication to the art he has been crafting all his life, his early international training, his enduring love of music and the challenges of lighting the fluid and ephemeral world of dance.
